Sophia Guillen

Sophia Guillen, daughter of a Jewish Brooklyn native and immigrant father from the Dominican Republic, was born in New York City and knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in acting. Her training began in the theatre as a member of TADA! during her adolescence. Sophia then attended SUNY Albany, where she starred in the theatre production of 'Almost, Maine'. Following her college graduation, Sophia moved to Los Angeles, CA, to pursue film and television. Her training includes The New Victory Theater, HB Studio, The Acting Studio NYC and Speiser/Sturges Acting Studio. Some of her most notable roles include starring as the lead in 'A Mysterious Murder' which is set for Sundance and Cannes Film Festivals, along with various supporting and guest-star roles in TV shows and films. Sophia has an extensive background in dance, fitness and is fluent in Spanish and sarcasm.
