Elisabeth Montanaro
Elisabeth Montanaro is an American actress and producer known for her work across film and television. She recently starred as Judy Murphy in The Black Mass, which premiered at both the Cannes Film Festival and Los Angeles Comic Con. She also leads and co-produces the upcoming series Chatham, a character-driven drama helmed by an Emmy-winning director. Born in Orange County, California and raised in New Jersey, Elisabeth grew up immersed in the performing arts-studying musical theatre, training as a competitive dancer, and regularly commuting into New York City for acting classes. She later moved back to California to attend Chapman University, where she earned her degree in Communication Studies and Dance. While studying, she worked at Disneyland Resort as a face character performer and continued pursuing her passion for storytelling through TV and film. Elisabeth has played leading roles across a range of genres-from grounded drama and psychological thriller to mystical fantasy and romantic comedy. Her versatility on screen is matched by a strong foundation in live performance and a deep passion for emotionally resonant, female-driven storytelling. She now splits her time between the U.S. and Australia as her international career continues to grow.
