Larken Woodward
Larken is a proud Malibu native, where every corner, from the mountains to the ocean, offers something new and unexpected, teaching her early on to stay present and curious. Larken found her love for the Arts at a very young age through dance and singing. Her expressive personality blossomed in performance, while her work ethic and ability to endure immense pressure fortified during her many years as a top Junior Tennis Player. Larken's journey on the court and the stage cultivated a well-rounded person, allowing her not only to create but own her path forward as an artist. After graduating from the University of Southern California and completing the Meisner program at The Baron Brown Studio, Larken is thrilled to exercise her craft on screen, being cast in major Motion Pictures featuring legends like Bruce Willis and Lily James, as well as Independent Films, which have granted her a SAG-AFTRA card. Larken believes storytelling is the most powerful tool for unifying communities while helping individuals feel supported in navigating life. With that, Larken takes her craft seriously, always striving to learn, improve, and innovate her technique. She continues to be in acting classes weekly, whether a scene study class, improv at UCB, or an Alexander Technique course; her curiosity never stops. Aside from performing, Larken is writing and directing her first short film set to shoot this fall! When Larken is not performing or writing, she plays tennis, drums to metal music, creates floral arrangements, and even bakes, specifically, perfecting her homemade chocolate chip cookie recipe!
