The Last Giant of Midgard
About
In the frozen wastelands of Midgard, Erik—secretly the last surviving son of the giant king Ymir, killed by Odin to preserve order—grows up as an outcast in a brutal Viking village. Mocked and isolated, he shocks everyone during the coming-of-age trial by single-handedly slaying a giant bear, unleashing his dormant giant blood and catching the eye of both Odin and the scheming Loki. Framed as an "ominous child" and exiled, Erik flees with his two loyal companions: the gentle Ingrid and the sharp-tongued Freya. As Loki manipulates Erik's hatred for Odin to trigger Ragnarok, the young warrior uncovers the truth about his father's death and Loki's treachery. Forging an unlikely alliance with Odin, Erik defeats the power-mad Loki, rejects the throne of Asgard, and establishes a new era of equality between gods, giants, and mortals. Finally, he returns to his homeland to build a peaceful life with his two wives, fulfilling the prophecy that Ymir's blood would bring balance to the Nine Realms.
