Fat to Fabulous
About
At Lion Creative, a top advertising agency on New York's Madison Avenue, 300-pound copywriter Emily Carter is the laughingstock of the office. Brilliant but insecure about her body, she silently endures her coworkers' mockery, her boss's exploitation, and years of bullying from star strategist Scarlett, while Steven, the CEO she secretly loves, has never so much as looked her way. Scarlett throws coffee on her in front of everyone and steals the idea Emily poured her life's work into. Just as Emily is about to break, a roguishly handsome man in a hoodie suddenly appears and calls himself the Angel System. He tells Emily that in a past life she was a firefighter who died on the job after saving 127 lives, and that her reward for it is finally coming due in this one. For every task she completes, she'll earn rewards like weight loss, new skills, and wealth. Half-skeptical, Emily completes her first task and instantly drops 10 pounds. From there, her comeback begins: she refuses unreasonable overtime, rescues a botched project, and dazzles everyone with her dancing at a team-building event, her figure improving by the day and her talent shining ever brighter. Noah, a sunny designer, is the first person to treat her with real kindness and quietly stays by her side. Aloof CEO Steven is slowly drawn to her talent and resilience and begins quietly watching her. Mysterious billionaire Ethan falls for her at first sight at a pitch competition and pursues her relentlessly with luxury cars and mansions. Unwilling to accept defeat, Scarlett schemes against her again and again until, in desperation, she steals Emily's final pitch. The Angel then gives Emily her ultimate task: win the pitch without any help from the system. Relying on her own skill, Emily delivers a flawless pitch, slims down to 100 pounds, and becomes the center of attention. Scarlett is disgraced and fired, and at the celebration party, Emily hears confessions from all three dream men and makes her final choice.
